How shed removal works
We start by emptying anything still inside (that part is regular junk removal), then take the shed apart from the roof down: roofing, panels, framing and floor. Wood and metal are separated so metal can be recycled.
Before we start, make sure no electrical lines run to the shed, or have an electrician disconnect them. We don't remove concrete slabs unless that's quoted separately.
Sheds, playsets, small decks and fences
Light demolition covers small, non-structural projects around the yard: wood and metal sheds, swing sets and playsets, small decks, fence sections, gazebos and hot tub enclosures. If it's attached to the house or load-bearing, it's outside what we do.
Permits and HOAs
Small detached sheds usually don't need a permit to remove, but HOA rules vary across Jacksonville, Nocatee and St. Johns neighborhoods. If you're in an HOA, check whether they want notice before the work day.
