Trailer Rental Agreement

1. Rental period & delivery

The rental period runs from drop-off to the pickup date you selected. Extra days are charged at the daily rate quoted at booking, subject to availability. A $50 delivery fee applies to every rental and is paid with the rental fee.

You choose the placement location and confirm it can support a loaded trailer. Haul & Gone may refuse placement that is unsafe or inaccessible.

2. Placement & surfaces

We use reasonable care, but we are not responsible for marks, cracks or damage to driveways, pavers, lawns, curbs or irrigation caused by placing, loading or removing the trailer at the location you chose. Boards under the jacks are recommended and available on request.

If the trailer must be placed on a public street or right-of-way, obtaining any required permit is your responsibility.

3. Use of the trailer

• Do not move, tow or relocate the trailer, or allow anyone to ride in or climb on it.
• Load evenly and do not fill above the side walls.
• Keep children and pets away from the trailer.
• Do not burn anything in or near the trailer.

4. Weight limits & overage

Each rental includes the weight allowance stated in your quote. Loads over the allowance are charged per ton at the rate quoted at booking. Heavy materials (concrete, dirt, brick, roofing shingles) have lower volume limits — ask before loading.

If a load is overweight or unsafe to tow, we may require part of it to be removed before pickup, or charge for an additional trip.

5. Prohibited items

Not allowed: hazardous waste, paint and solvents, chemicals, oil and fuel, propane tanks, batteries, tires, asbestos, medical waste, appliances containing refrigerant (unless agreed in advance), and anything illegal to dispose of in a landfill.

Prohibited items found in the trailer will be removed or disposed of at your cost, plus any fines or fees charged to us.

6. Responsibility for the trailer

From drop-off until pickup, you are responsible for the trailer and its contents, including loss, theft and damage beyond normal wear (for example damage from overloading, fire or misuse). You will pay reasonable repair or replacement costs for such damage.

You agree to indemnify Haul & Gone against claims arising from the use of the trailer by you or others at your location during the rental, except to the extent caused by our negligence.

7. Payment & cancellation

No deposit is required. The rental fee is due at drop-off, before the trailer is unhooked, by Zelle or invoice. If payment is not received, we may keep the trailer hitched and take it back. Extra days, overweight charges and prohibited-item fees are due at pickup.

Free cancellation with 24 hours' notice before drop-off. Cancellations after the trailer has been dispatched may be charged a trip fee.

8. General

This Agreement is governed by Florida law. Our total liability relating to a rental is limited to the rental fee paid, to the extent permitted by law.
